This group of councils including Derbyshire Dales, Staffordshire Moorlands, High Peak and Derbyshire County have enjoyed high impact programmes such as Leadership, Coaching, Strategic Leadership and Appraisal training. E-learning has been piloted with a small group of managers who wanted to experiment with distance learning management modules and send work to their tutor by email. 140 staff from the partner councils enrolled on Aspire delivered development programmes

South Kesteven District Council

'Tomorrow's Leaders Today'
with professional coaching for delegates Launched in the autumn of 2005, South Kesteven District Council along with partner authorities North Kesteven and East Lindsey enrolled 15 Service Managers on an ILM Level 7 Introductory Executive Diploma in Management. A unique and powerful ingredient in this course has been the inclusion of professional 1:1 coaching for 3 hours spread across the programme. The value and long term business and personal benefits of this provision cannot be over emphasised (see 'Testimonials' page on this website). Such has been the success of the first programme that three further courses at this level are planned for the months ahead.

AstraZeneca R&D Charnwood

We prepare, maintain and facilitate a training action plan for the engineers within AstraZeneca's Facilities and Management Team.  This all encompassing role has involved the putting into place of training for key Utilities and Process Equipment used in major building projects

Leicester City Council

'Leadership Plus'
We have been working with LCC for several years in providing an Introductory Executive Diploma in Leadership & Management for Corporate Directors, Service Directors and Heads of Service. The autumn of 2006 saw the start of the 10th programme in this series. Such a long term relationship has helped Aspire develop a fuller understanding of the issues facing local government organisations and to tailor learning solutions to meet specific needs. In addition to this, Aspire delivers Team Leader and Certificate in Coaching training for other staff at LCC.
